Mary Kay Winberg, of Rome, NY, passed away on March 10, 2022. Mary was born in Carrollton, OH, on July 27, 1931, the daughter of the late Earl and Frances Cox. On June 9, 1952, Mary married, the love of her life, Lt. Harry L. Winberg, USAF, in Phoenix, Arizona. Mary is survived by her four children, Christina Gutwein (Dan), Baltimore; Steven Winberg (Anne) Washington, DC; James Winberg (Janeanne) Reno; and David Winberg (Julie), Rome; her nine grandchildren, Sonya, Amy, Lydia, Bonnie, Lauren, Anna, Erik, Katrina and Alyssa; and four great-grandchildren, Lillian, June, Cecilia and Johanna. Mary was raised in Minerva, OH and Phoenix, AZ, where she graduated from North Phoenix High School and Tempe College. Mary managed a household, raising four children through many military moves.
