At the Library: Act III, an outdoor concert in Waterford - theday.com

A local band, Act III, will perform a mix of jazz and rhythm and blues at a free outside concert at the Waterford Public Library at 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 6.

Chairs and blankets are encouraged.

Carol Pollack, Act III vocalist/guitar player, and Al Dimmock, lead guitarist, formed the band in 2014. Guitarist Chris Leigh will be performing bass and the Jacob Graham will play drums and percussion.

Attendees will enjoy the sounds of Irving Berlin and Fats Waller classics, along with songs from Tom Waits, Norah Jones and Madeliene Peyroux.
