Emans earns use of Mary Kay Career Car - Elizabethton Star

Melina (Papantoniou) Emans of Luckey, Ohio picked up a new Pink Cadillac XT5 last month for her achievements with Mary Kay Cosmetics. Melina is the granddaughter of George Papantoniou of Elizabethton.

According to marykay.com the company's Independent Beauty Consultants who reach the status of Sales Directors can earn the use of a Cadillac XT5, or take a cash reward instead of the use of the Cadillac. Other vehicles are also available.

About 1.5% of Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultants reach the status of Sales Directors and about 10% of Mary Kay Sales Directors earn the use of the Pink Cadillac.

Melina has been with Mary Kay Cosmetics for 17 years. She started part time along side of attending college in Ohio and went full time with Mary Kay after graduation. Ten months later she earned her very first free Mary Kay Car, the Chevy Malibu. She has gone on to earn a Chevy Cruze, 3 Chevy Equinox, 2 Chevy Traverse, and now the iconic Pink Cadillac.

Since Mary Kay Ash started the Mary Kay Career Car program in 1969, more than 171,000 independent sales force members have qualified or re-qualified to earn the use of a Mary Kay Career Car. There are currently over 1,000 pink Cadillacs on the road nationwide.
