Adele 'fails To Sell Out Munich Tour Amid Fan Concern She'll Cancel Last-minute'

Adele has failed to sell out her comeback European tour after postponing the next leg of her Las Vegas residency over doctor's orders to go on "vocal rest".

The British singer will play 10 dates in Munich between August 2 and August 24 - her first European tour since 2016.

Despite her widespread popularity, The Sun has said many tickets are still available for the 80,000-capacity concerts on Ticketmaster.

A music insider told the outlet that fans are hesitating to purchase tickets, fearing the Grammy winner, 35, might cancel or reschedule the event once more.

An industry source claimed: "There is some fan reticence about buying the tickets, because people are worried about whether Adele will be well enough to perform them all.

"People follow her extremely closely — and Adele has been silent for a couple of weeks since announcing she was ill and taking a break. So her followers are worried about her and when she will be back.

"But Adele has access to the very best treatment for whatever she needs in California, and a strong team around her."

Adele announced that her March Las Vegas gigs would be postponed to a later date after disclosing she was put on vocal rest last month.

Her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is wrapping up in June, before heading to Munich for summer stadium gigs.

During her last world tour, Adele Live, she canceled her final two shows at Wembley Stadium in 2017 due to vocal concerns. Her concerns are well founded too having undergone surgery for polyps in her throat in 2011.

It's not the first time Adele's Munich tour has come under the microscope with fans complaining about the ticket prices online.

Last month, an astonishing 260,000 fans virtually queued for hours, hoping to snag affordable seats for her upcoming summer residency in Germany.

On X (formerly Twitter), fans were crying foul, calling the prices "criminal" and bemoaning the struggle for "regular people to see artists live"

One frustrated fan wrote: "Adele ticket prices are looking insane already why are these artists making it so difficult for regular people to go see them live."

A third shared: "I'm sorry but the Adele prices are out of pocket."

Echoing many others sentiments, a fan commented: "I was thinking i could go see Adele but the prices are too crazy.

"Like I'd rather go on vacation with that money just not worth it to me."

Due to overwhelming demand, the Hello singer has already tacked on four additional dates to her August schedule, bringing the total to 10 shows.

She is set to take to the open-air arena, which will accommodate 80,000 fans each night, on August 2, 3, 9, 10, 14, 16, 23, 24, 30, and 31.

If you're looking to find tickets to the last Weekends with Adele performances in 2024, we've got you covered. Here's our breakdown of Adele's schedule, purchasing details, and original and resale ticket prices. Or, you can browse the available tickets on StubHub and Vivid Seats at your leisure.

Adele 2024 tour schedule

Adele's 2024 leg of her Weekends with Adele residency kicked off with two performances over the weekend of January 19. After these shows, Adele still has plenty of concert dates left in Las Vegas, concluding on June 15.

All times are listed in PT, local to Las Vegas.

How to buy tickets for Adele's Las Vegas concerts

Since the 2024 extension went on sale in October, the quantity of available tickets for the last dates of Weekends with Adele is dwindling. Original tickets through vendors like Ticketmaster are already entirely sold out.

However, numerous tickets for Weekends with Adele are still available through verified resale ticket vendors like StubHub and Vivid Seats.

How much are Adele's concert tickets?

With a limited quantity and high demand, the price for tickets for Adele's 2024 concert series is relatively high. Since original tickets are already sold out, the prices on verified resale sites vary depending on the concert date and demand.

On StubHub, the lowest ticket prices for Weekends with Adele's remaining shows start between $484 and $886, depending on the date. February 17 appears to be the most expensive, with the lowest available price being $886 before fees. Meanwhile, tickets for her Las Vegas performance on March 1 begin at $484. Most Adele ticket prices fall around the $650-$750 range for the cheapest.

Prices change regularly, but sometimes you might get lucky when a performance is imminent. On the day of the February 2 show, we saw the price drop by over $100, from $656 to $551. On the flip side, once the cheaper seats get snapped up, you might see the new lowest price of shows leaps up dramatically. Like the one coming up on February 17, which went from $677 to $886.

Tickets for Adele's 2024 concerts on Vivid Seats generally tend to be more expensive. The lowest ticket prices for Adele's 2024 concert series start between $587 (February 9) and $1,217 (May 17) before taxes and fees.

How to travel to Las Vegas for the Adele concert

Las Vegas is one of the most popular travel locations for tourists in the world, even more so in February with the Super Bowl coming to town. But there is no shortage of hotels, Airbnbs, and flights.

We've picked out a few travel and accommodation options to help you plan your trip once you've picked up your Adele tickets. That being said, if you're flexible on dates, it might be worth considering if you can save a significant stack on travel/hotels on different dates and weigh that up with the ticket costs to get the best overall price for your trip.

Who is opening for Adele's tour?

There is no opening performer for Adele's residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The concert begins with Adele singing a series of ballads, which includes her hit song "Hello."

Will there be international Adele tour dates?

Since Adele's 2024 concert series is for her residency in Las Vegas, no international dates are associated with Weekends with Adele.

However, with her nearly two-year-long residency ending in June 2024, Adele may announce separate international concert dates for the year later.

Adele Suffers Major Tour Blow As Fans Fear She May Cancel More Gigs Last Minute

Adele's European comeback tour plans are not going as well as she'd hoped as fans turn on her over high ticket prices and fears she will cancel more gigs at the last minute

Adele has failed to sell out her European comeback tour as fans fear she may pull out of gigs at the last minute.

Tickets for her 10-date Adele In Munich gigs went on sale two weeks ago and apparently extra dates were added "due to unprecedented demand". Yet thousands of tickets remain available for the dates listed on Ticketmaster from August 2 to August 31.

It comes after Adele was forced to pull out of some of her Las Vegas residency gigs, which were due to take place this month. Apologising for the 'inconvenience' in a statement on Instagram on February 28, the 35-year-old wrote: "Sadly I have to take a beat and pause my Vegas residency. I was sick at the end of last leg and all through the break.

"I hadn't quite gotten the chance to get back to full health before shows resumed and now I'm sick again and unfortunately it's taken a toll on my voice. And so on doctor's orders I've had to rest thoroughly. The remaining five weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date. We are already working out the details and you will be sent the information asap."

But fans have already begged her not to postpone any more gigs as they have lost money not only in tickets, but hundreds of pounds they have forked out on flights and accommodation to see the Somebody Like You singer live.

One wrote: "Don't postpone Munich please. I spent a lot on accommodation and flight tickets." Another fumed: "Adele fks her fans again out of sheer laziness and excuses. All those people who work hard and booked vacations to see her now getting screwed." A third chimed in: "Any updates soon? We need to plan and it's impossible to do if we don't have new dates. Leaving us in limbo is unfair."

While a fourth said: "Postponing is a legal loophole so you don't have to refund tickets. Do the right thing and just cancel shows so people can get their money back! I am coming from England, will still enjoy the weekend but no way will I return again for a rescheduled concert!"

Adele is set to play a string of gigs in Germany's Munich singing outdoors at a bespoke open-air arena large enough to fit 80,000 fans each night. But some fans have branded her "greedy" after discovering how much tickets cost. Premier sets are billed at £984 - and even the cheapest remaining tickets will set fans back £280 after all the £60 tickets sold out.

The Munich concerts are the first gigs on mainland Europe Adele has performed for eight years. Revealing why she chose to host the gigs there, Adele explained: "So a few months ago I got a call about a summer run of shows. I've been content as anything with my shows in London's Hyde Park and my residency in Vegas, so I hadn't had any other plans. However, I was too curious to not follow up and indulge in this idea - a one off, bespoke pop-up stadium designed around whatever show I want to put on? Ohh!? Pretty much slap bang in the middle of Europe? In Munich?

"That's a bit random, but still fabulous! Right after the Euros? Come on England! With the Olympics next door? Go on Simone! And some of my favourite artists playing shows too? Why…YES!! I haven't played in Europe since 2016! I couldn't think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful phase of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer. Guten Tag babes."
